questions for tires

i just bought a set of 19' g35 rays staggered wheels. the tire sizes are 225/40/19 fronts and 245/40/19 in the rear. i was wondering if i cant just run one size on them?

you could if you wanted to, but if the width of the rims are different even though all 4 are the same size they are going to look different on the front rims than they will on the rears.

i was going to buy these. http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/TOY190010.htm there 225/35/19 and it says fitment guide 8.0-8.5-9.5, the rims are 19x8 F and 19x8.5 R. these tires would fit i guess right?

yea, they would fit but they are going to look different on the front rims than thjey will on the rars because the rims are different widths

Do the 225/40/all around dont go 35's wont look good. I'll buy the rears from you if theyre good.There are some 19' tires on craiglist do a search becuase new19's are not cheap..

i had to junk the tires they were all bald. i went and bought 225/40/19

How did 225/40's work out on the rears for ya? I know they're 8.5" wide in the back, didn't know 225/40's would stretch out enough in the back... I'm running 245/40/19's all around.

the tire ratio is from 8.0-8.5-9.5 so it fits on beacause i asked tire rack before i ordered them

butourr idwall is going to look different from fron to rear. with the wider rims in the bback the back tires are going to appear thinner cause the sidewall is going to go out from the tread to the riim instead of striight down.

How come you didn't go with 245/40's in the rear? Tire Rack allows you to mix and match, unless you got a special deal for buying four 225/40/19's...

just get 4 matching size tires, the rims may be the same width
if they are different width it'll only be by like a half inch which won't be noticible at all

yeah i want to see pics. i know the z rims i got are all them same 18x8.5 but he was running 225/45/18 on fronts and 245/40/18 in the back on his z i believe but im probably gonna go with same all around
