That's what I'm talking about Bishnu! Startin' it up early! A beginning of a truly epic event. A fucking SEA of NISSANS coming from the tristate area. If you are NISSAN you're welcome to attend. I plan to be shooting the event in HD, and setting up a team for photography. The site is www.maxus09.com where you will be able to find out more info in the coming months.

For those that aren't in the know, Maxus is a national Maxima meet. It's a 3 day event. Maxima.org members set it up and they have really great events in some of the previous Maxus'. We plan to make this one the BIGGEST and BEST Maxus EVARRRRRRRRRRRRRR. This is the first time that it will be in our area. So we need to roll out deep on this one. No exceptions.

I plan to personally invite, G35NYC, OfficialTSZ, my350z, NYCNissans, NYCMaximas, CTMaximas members to attend.

Oh, and one day, is a track day. We're renting the track.

All,

I wanted to personally let you know that planning and implementation for what we hope to be the best Maxus ever seen by the org has begun. We have formed and started a committee made up of org members who showed interest in helping to plan this event, and who have participated in past Maxus' meets.

We are working on, and should have the following set up by Jan 1.
An official Maxus website (outside of the org) w/customized logo
A registration site for those that are interested in going to pre-register
Location
Specific concrete Event Details


What we need from you all is an idea of what you all want for next years Maxus, so please vote accordingly in the polls listed.

1) Drag Strip Event - $25-50 per driver, $10-15 to watch; Organized Heads Up drag racing broken up in several classes such as, All Motor 3.5, All Motor 3L, Forced Induction, Unlimited, etc. Trophies are awarded to winners.

2) AutoX Event - Will cost approx $25-35 per driver

3) Dyno Shootout - Approx $35-50 per person, trophies are awarded for different classes

4) Road Course Event - Approx $150-200 per driver

5) Scenic Cruise w/ professional photographers - Free

6) Car Show - $20-35 per person, several different classes based on generations, mods, exterior, interior, trophies are awarded to winners.

7) Stereo Soundoff Competition - $30-40 per person, trophies are awarded to winners.
